Mending Monday would certainly get me back into a pub again, what a delightful vision! It feels so achievable too!

Very good point! That’s the other good thing about games like this, it shows you things you could already do now. For example, we could approach one of the pubs to see if they’d let us host a mending evening.

Quilt Club is already in a pub back room actually, so it’s not a stretch!

I love seeing hint of Urgent Optimists here! This sounds like a great game concept. I wish we had the tradition of pubs in the U.S. When my husband and I spent time in England we just loved going to our neighborhood pub. Our daughter was just 9 months old at the time and it was perfectly OK to bring her to the pub (in a Snuggly) so we could all be together.

Oh totally, it's Jane's game from Imaginable!! 🩷 (I linked to it)

And yes, pubs really are great and something that we do very well here. My friend near Boston was just saying she misses pubs.

This Saturday was actually Mend in Public Day and we mended outside in the sunshine, not in the oub, but hopefully next time!

I first skipped the part of "the year 2034" and I thought the Mending Mondays at your pub are an actual thing... 😶‍🌫️ Still, I am glad I was introduced to the Mending Mondays thing and I already spread the message by mentioned it to few people. No one I know heard of Mending Mondays before! So thank you 🤗
