What a great story that brings together learning a new skill, anticipating a positive outcome, and then enjoying the actual fruits of your labor!
So today is April 22 and in the U.S. it is Earth Day. My inbox is filled with all sorts of ways to celebrate Earth Day, but my favorite is one organization asking me to send a letter to my Congress people on the topic of creating greener, cleaner and safer schools. There is a bill called the Green New Deal for Public Schools Act and it addresses everything from greener school buses to investing in clean energy infrastructure for school buildings.
What's great is that it is a small but powerful act that I can do easily.
There is something about growing your own food that is just so special :)
Growing things and making things really do something ~special~ to the soul!
What a great story that brings together learning a new skill, anticipating a positive outcome, and then enjoying the actual fruits of your labor!
